Bankruptcy and Chapter 11 also require the services of a lawyer to take care of the legal issues involved. Another alternative is to hire a company that specializes in reducing debt for companies. They offer debt management and restructuring services that can do wonders for some companies if they follow the management plan.

Obtaining more bad credit business loans is not the best way to get a company out of a slow season of profits or the loss of valued customers. Debt restructuring firms can offer businesses programs that call for lower monthly debt repayments, which actually makes the company's credit rating better.
