Although you may be more educated, or feel that you are more qualified than even your boss, they are still your boss and you need to respect that. They are the person that signs your pay check, therefore you need to respect them, no matter what the circumstances are. Do not have it set in your mind that you are better than your workers, or your boss for that matter. We all come from different circumstances, having respect for one another will give you a common ground and make the work place a must more enjoyable experience.

Keep in mind that this position could have been given to anyone else. The fact that you are overqualified, does not give your permission to take this job for granted. Eventually this recession will pass, and you will soon be able to work your way up again. You should be able to handle being over qualified for a job if you follow the tips above.
