The Membership Breakfasts are unique sell-out events, attracting nearly 250 Chamber members and community representatives. Each breakfast provides members with the opportunity to network and establish a relationship with other local business leaders while enjoying a delicious breakfast and educational program. Walking into a Chamber breakfast is a great way to start the morning. During each breakfast, business professionals come together to enjoy each other’s company in an effort to strengthen our business community and also to learn from inspirational speakers. These events are a great way to stay informed of all chamber happenings in addition to making new contacts and establishing valuable relationships.

Leadership Boca
The single most important ingredient for building a successful, thriving community is an investment in leadership. Cultivated, trained and motivated community leaders will shape and determine the future of Boca Raton. Leadership Boca represents the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce's effort to ensure that our community leaders possess the knowledge that will enable them to meet the challenges of the future. The eight-session program is designed to educate civic-minded individuals in the greater Boca Raton area with regard to issues and concerns facing our community. The program develops a pool of leaders available to become involved in creating, maintaining and enhancing the quality of life of Boca Raton. It involves meeting with experts in the fields of government, health care, environment, education, social services, business, public safety, the arts, the media and more. Participants are given the opportunity to learn about civic issues, question situations and formulate solutions by looking at the big picture. The cost of investing in Leadership Boca is time and tuition. The program runs every other Wednesday beginning in March and continuing through June for a total of eight full-day sessions. Small Business Leader of the Year Award Luncheon is held in conjunction with Small Business Week. During Small Business Week, entrepreneurs and business people who create goods, services, and jobs, and bring opportunity and economic prosperity to communities throughout the nation are celebrated. Nearly 400 of the area’s most influential business people attend this important luncheon honoring one of Boca Raton’s most successful small business leaders. Approximately 85 percent of the chamber’s nearly 1,700 members are small businesses and we are delighted to have the opportunity to honor one of the small business owners each year.
In order for a small business owner to be eligible for this award, the nominee must be an owner or partner of the business and actively involved in the day to day management of the business, must be a member in good standing with the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, must have been in business a minimum of three years, and the firm must have fewer than 100 employees OR the nominee's firm must have gross annual sales not exceeding $5 million dollars (SBA definition of a "small" business), the nominee's firm must have demonstrated sustained growth in employees and sales, must be active in community affairs, volunteering personal and business resources, may be a franchise owner, and may NOT be the chief operations officer of a branch location of a parent company. Business persons eligible for nomination will be accepted from, but are not limited to, the manufacturing, financial and service industries and the professions. Boca Festival Days is a month-long, city-wide series of events held during the month of August where the Chamber pairs participating non-profit members with for-profit members in an attempt to raise money for the non-profits. These wonderful events were initially intended to help boost business during what was Boca Raton's slow month, but has now evolved into the Chamber's commitment to our non-profit community. Boca Festival Days has grown tremendously and now has more than 40 events and thousands of participants. Last year, over $200,000 was raised for our non-profits!
