1. Decide on the shower's theme. Once you select a theme, the rest will easily fall into place. To choose a theme, have a discussion among all of those who are sharing in the hosting duties. For instance, party stores not only have many ready-made favor options, they also offer options for building your own favors. The Internet is a wonderful tool for garnering favor ideas. List your favorites and the prices for each. Compile a list of favor ideas, preferably with pictures to show to all of the decision-makers. Keep in mind favors should match the shower's décor and theme. For instance, if you will be sending your guests home with candle wedding shower favors, and you've chosen a black and white theme, the candles should be black and white as well.
