Argentina s history boasts rulers such as Juan Domingo Peron and his wife Evita Peron. During their reign, the working conditions of Argentina began to improve; but once WWII started and world economics started changing, things in Argentina started to become more unstable. After their deaths, Argentina found itself under military rule again. In the mid 1970 s Argentina fell into what was known as the Dirty War where it was dangerous for citizens to disagree with the rules of the government. This ended in 1983 and by 2002 Argentina s economy started recovering. Today, Argentina is making a name for itself as one of the hottest tourism spots in the world. Their food and culture draw people from all over to sample a taste of their culture for very inexpensively since the pesos is at a 3:1 ratio with the American dollar.

If you are entering Argentina you will need a passport. There are no specific vaccinations needed and the ones you have received in the U.S. or Europe should suffice. You will want to exchange money before entering the country as this will make it much smoother to do transactions. Make sure you specify you want Argentine pesos, though.
