BUSINESS AFTER HOURS NETWORKING CARD EXCHANGE
DATE: Every third Thursday of the month
TIME: The event takes place between 5:30 – 7:00pm. Each month we feature a different member.
DETAILS: Great networking opportunity while, enjoying some wine and cheese.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING (BREAKFAST)
DATE: Every fourth Wednesday of the month
DETAILS:Chamber South provides our membership with the opportunity to network and build relationships while taking away a little something from our informative presentations. Our programs range from governmental issues to educational updates as well as inspirational speakers.

BUSINESS EXPO 2008
Each year Chamber South’s Business Committee hosts an annual Business Expo designed to showcase member products and/or services with face to face contact and direct exposure to a targeted audience. Date TBD April 2008.

ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Chamber South and its Military Affairs Committee commit to sponsoring a Military Recognition program designed to honor our local military personnel.
DATE: May 23rd
LOCATION: Miccosukee Golf & Country Club.
DETAILS: As an added bonus, each team playing in the tournament will be assigned a military person to fill out the foursome. Who knows you might have a General or Sergeant on your team. Monies raised sponsor a variety of programs that help support our local military via the Military Hospitality Lounge in Miami International Airport, Family Day at Homestead Airforce Base and the annual Junior ROTC Pass-In-Review, featuring teams from 26 of our local high schools.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your firm to let our Great Miami based military personnel know how much their dedication and sacrifice is appreciated.

37th ANNUAL SOUTH MIAMI ART FESTIVAL
DATE: November 1st & 2nd
DETAILS: A fine arts show featuring juried artists from across the country comes to Sunset Drive between Us1 and Red Road. The event is free to the public, providing and outstanding cultural experience for residents and visitors. The festival kicks off the season in Miami-Dade County and provides a multi-cultural experience in a family setting. Considering we ranked in the top 100 fine art shows in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine, and attracted 60,000 people throughout the weekend, you won’t want to miss being a part of the show!
