Chili’s proves to be a restaurant for all ages with an adult friendly menu as well as a kid’s menu for children under the age of 12 and a party platter menu for larger groups that come in to eat at the restaurant.
Chili’s was founded by Larry Levine when he wanted to implement a concept that created an informal but full-service dining restaurant. To put his ideas into play, Larry bought a postal station and converted it to build the first Chili’s location. It officially opened on March 13, 1975 in Dallas, Texas. A few years after these locations were added, Levine decided to the sell the company to its current owner, Norman E. Brinker of Brinker International. Chili’s has grown into a backyard name. Chili’s is also a proud supporter of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.
