2. What Is A Choreographer

A choreographer is the person who develops dance routines, and usually is the person who teaches them to others. Therefore, a choreographer can also be called a dance teacher, but they are somewhat different. A dance instructor will teach many different types of dances and will often teach dances that have already been developed to his or her students. A choreographer is the one who makes up the dances. He or she uses already known dance moves and steps, and mixes them with different moves that they create on their own. They decide upon the various moves for each part of the song or routine. Then, they usually have a hand in teaching the dancers the routines that they have choreographed. Therefore, they are much more than dance captains, although they retain all the duties of the dance captains.

3. Choreographer As A Career

Many times, people will choose to be a choreographer as their career. This is something that does not happen over night, because a person must have a lot of dance training in order to be a true choreographer. Often, a person who chooses to be a choreographer as their career will have had many years of dance training. However, they must also have a large degree of creativity in order to create the dance moves and to choreograph the routines. Being a choreographer is a difficult career, but those who do choose it find it very rewarding. Often, if a person has chosen to be a choreographer for their career, they will have to work their way up from choreographing small routines and shows locally, to doing it in the big time. This process can take many years.

4. Ballet Masters Choreographer

A ballet masters choreographer is someone who has had years of ballet training and has progressed to the point where they are able to create ballet routines and set them to music. Most of the time, a ballet masters choreographer is someone who has been doing ballet for most of his or her life. A person must be able to understand and perform all the ballet moves, and must be at the highest level in their ballet studies in order to be a ballet masters choreographer. Then, they will be able to create routines and teach them to others. This often takes even more training. If a person is going to be a ballet masters choreographer, chances are good that they have devoted their entire lives to ballet. Once a person has become a ballet masters choreographer, they might even think about writing a ballet on their own, from start to finish. This requires even more work, but can be even more rewarding.
