This workshop offers guidance on record keeping, types of business entities, Schedules C & SE and employment taxes. The employment tax segment provides an overview of Forms 940, 941 & 944, including e-file and EFTPS due dates. There is also a discussion on Employee Classification (Employee vs. Independent Contractor). The class is taught by instructors who are qualified to practice before the IRS (Certified Public Accountants and Enrolled Agents) and by South Carolina DOR and ESC Revenue Agents.
