Visitors to Cyprus sometimes come to the island and spend all their holiday in hotel compounds relaxing and getting a fabulous sun tan, which with the Cyprus weather is guaranteed, whist this is the perfect destination for those pastimes – it is a shame to come all this way and not explore the island so grab some Cyprus road maps and maybe even look at Cyprus property for sale for your own place in the sun.

Holiday car hire in Cyprus is very accessible and easy to arrange, you just have to be over 25 with most companies and bring your driving licence and you are sorted. There are many businesses offering holiday car hire so it will pay to look around for the best deal. Most of the vehicles will have a tourist map in the paperwork given to you, but it if you intend to really explore it makes sense to get one of the Cyprus road maps that are foe sale in most general stores. The Cyprus Tourist Office (CTO) also has many maps and brochures available free of charge, just pop in and collect all you need.

The Cyprus road maps show that as the island is actually quite small and the network of highways is very good and links all the major towns, from there you can branch out and wander around at your leisure. Added to all that there is of course the wonderful climate of long hot summers and mild winters, yet still having snow on the Troodos mountains – if you miss the cold!!
