(NC)-You don't need to hire a professional to install your TV wall mount. Here are some tips for installation, and some innovative new products that make it easier to create a professional looking display at home.

Innovations in TV wall mount technology make it easy for almost anyone to install. You'll need a few tools and some patience, but the end result will be a functional mount and an updated look to your home theatre. Be advised that some installations may require two people, so ask a friend to help.

First, determine where you want the TV to go. This will often help you decide what kind of wall mount to get - full motion, tilting or low profile. Next, purchase a mount that is compatible with your TV. Any consumer electronics retailer should be able to help. Another great resource is Sanus Systems' online mount finder (www.sanus.com/mountfinder), which will provide model numbers for mounts that fit your TV. I prefer Sanus mounts because they're unobtrusive, design-conscious, and easy to install.

So you have the TV and the mount, now what? Most mounts can be installed with basic hand tools you may already own, such as a screwdriver, electric drill, level, wrench or socket set, and a stud finder.

Step one: Use a stud finder to locate the studs. Screw the wall plate to the wall studs.

Step two: Attach the mounting bracket to the back of your TV.

Step three: Lift the TV and connect the mounting bracket to the wall plate you previously secured to the wall. This is where a second set of arms can help.

As long as your measurements are correct, you'd be done at this point unless you bought a mount with additional post-installation features. This can make or break your display, and I highly recommend getting a mount with these features, such as the Sanus Vision Mount LT25 or LL22. Both models allow you to adjust the height of the display and level it, even after the TV is on the wall. You can also slide the TV left and right for perfect placement on the wall, just in case the studs are a little off centre. I also like that these models have a built-in kick stand that props the TV away from the wall for easy access to cables, and then clicks securely back on to the wall plate when you're done.

The total cost of a project like this all depends on the mount required for your TV. The LT25 and LL22 can be purchased at a retailer for about $200.

One thing to consider before starting installation is the location of your electrical outlets. The easiest thing to do is to install the TV above an outlet and then run your power cord down the wall to the outlet. Of course then you'll have to buy a cover that can be painted to match your wall color.

Another option is to hire an electrician to run the cords inside the wall, or install an electrical box behind where you will mount the TV. This will cost a little more, but results in a completely wireless appearance.

The solar energy is generated from the most advanced solar energy equipment including photovoltaic cells, solar modules, charge controllers and solar power inverters. Products range from grid-tied systems to “Do-It-Yourself” kits. Even solar modules utilizing the high efficiency thin-film Copper Indium Gallium DiSelenide (C.I.G.S.) components are now available. This is the latest in space age technology, developed in NASA’s shuttle program. Service is offered for all sales, installations and maintenance.

The amount and efficiency of solar power energy products sold in the United States continues to grow at a rapid rate. The solar attic fans, emergency spot lights and street lights are extremely popular to start a solar project. Starter kits are a useful item for the beginner, disbeliever or for educational purposes.
