The Mercedes Benz Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival is one of the most scenic and popular classic car events in the Southeastern United States. Presented around beautiful Lake Mirror and throughout downtown Lakeland, hundreds of classic and collectible vehicles including street rods and custom cars are displayed on the street in a 16-block area. The Lake Mirror Classic Concours d'Elegance features a select group of the highest quality automobiles which are judged by a team of CCCA and AACA judges. The opening event is a free outdoor concert and party held at the Lake Mirror Amphitheater on Friday evening. When the band takes a break all the hot rods crank up their engines for the Hot Rod Rumble and make some music of their own. One of the most famous drivers in the history of international car racing, Sir Stirling Moss, will be the honorary chairman at this years event. Moss will be available for pictures and autographs during the Concours dElegance on the afternoon of Oct. 20th, where he will be reunited with the 1954 OSCA he drove to victory at Sebring in 1954.
