Feng Shui is a practice that can help bring positive energy or 'chi'. This practice has been known for more than 3,000 years. Many use it to help them in many different areas of their lives, including attracting and holding on to wealth. The idea of Feng Shui includes bringing in harmony, peace and happiness which will all attract wealth.

Start to bring wealth into your life by cleaning out physical clutter in your environment. Cleaning out this clutter will give you less mental clutter in your life. When you enter a room that is clean and organized your mind tends to settle down and relax, giving off positive energy. This positive energy will then attract even more positive energy and that is what Feng Shui is all about. The more Feng Shui energy the area has, the more powerful your field of energy will be and heightening your ability to attract wealth.

The parts of Feng Shui that control wealth are the southeast and the element of wood. Find this corner of your home or office and get it as organized and clean as you can. The light in this area should look natural and not too dull or bright. It is also said to leave a light on at all times in this area or leave it on each day as long as possible.

A well-kept aquarium is a very good piece for this area, since water does enhance the wood element. When choosing your fish for the tank, pick one that is bright and full of energy to excite positive 'chi'. Nine gold fish are most favorable with eight being gold and one being black. Beside an aquarium, a fountain will be a positive water element. Choose either one of the water elements and not both; two will be too powerful.

There are many symbols used in Feng Shui that enhance money, luck and fortune. These are just a few:
  • Money Frog
  • Wealth God
  • Dragon
  • Gold Ingots
  • Citrine
To attract wealth into the area, use lighting in earth colors like green or brown. Place a blue or black rut at the front door as a symbol of water that brings opportunities flowing in. Decorate with healthy and round-leafed plants to bring good 'chi' to the wealth area. Place a pair of Foo dogs, one male and one female, outside the entrance to ward off people who bring harm or other influences with negativity that might take away wealth.
