TASTE OF FLAGLER
The Annual Taste of Flagler is an evening of mouth-watering samples from Flagler County’s finest eateries. Under the stars in the European Village Resort piazza, guests can enjoy live music, a glass of wine and delicious food from a wide variety of restaurants. There will be more than a dozen restaurants setting up booths with tidbits of their favorite dishes for everyone to try.
POTATO DAYS
For years, farmers have grown potatoes in Flagler County as a staple of the rural agricultural Western portion of the area and for years was among the state’s leading producers of the potato, which from Flagler are used primarily for potato chips.The Bunnell Chamber of Commerce decided it is time to celebrate the potato by organizing the Inaugural 2008 Potato Festival in May. The event will be fun for the entire family with a carnival and games for children, arts and crafts, and – of course – potatoes. The event will be free and open to the public in downtown Bunnell.
FABULOUS FOURTH FESTIVITIES
If you are looking for something to do to celebrate Independence Day, head to downtown Flagler Beach for a day of summer fun. Join the Flagler Beach Chamber and the City of Flagler Beach for the Annual Fabulous Fourth Festivities. You can watch a fantastic parade, shop the Flagler Beach boutiques and outdoor vendors, taste some delicious food, listen to live music and top your day off watching an incredible fireworks display light up the starry sky off the pier. Bring a beach chair or blanket, your sunscreen and sit back and relax.
ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Chamber has been hosting an annual golf tournament for more than 20 years. Chamber members, their friends and business partners join together for a day of fun on the links of one of the finest golf courses in Northeast Florida, followed by a delicious luncheon and awards ceremony.
CREEKSIDE FESTIVAL
The Annual Creekside Festival is a two-day event filled with fun for the entire family. Set at Flagler County’s crown jewel, Princess Place Preserve on the shores of Pellicer Creek, there is plenty to do. Take a tour of the hiking trails, a kayak tour, enjoy a photography exhibit, games for children, arts and crafts and more. Admission is free.
