CHAMBER CELEBRATES NEW BUSINESS

Tuesday, February 05, 2008, Fullerton, CA – H&R Block, one of the nation’s most trusted tax preparers and America’s year-round financial partner, celebrated a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Feb. 1, at their Amerige Heights Location, 951 Starbuck St., in Suite C.

The Fullerton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome the 53-year-old company, which operates out of more than 12,500 tax offices in the United States and more than 1,300 more locations in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, serving nearly 19.5 million taxpayers worldwide.

Sharon McCann, District Manager, is pleased with the presence of several locations in Fullerton and especially the Amerige Heights office where the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held, as it serves the residents and businesses in west Fullerton.

H&R Block is also heavily involved in the local community. Through their workplace giving campaign, H&R Block supports more than 20 local and national community partners, including the United Way, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, America’s Second Harvest, Young Audiences, Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
