The House of Innoventions kitchen, which features Poggenpohl's Plusmodo line, includes elements such as open and closed areas with glass pull-out trays and sliding doors, and illuminated satin-glass shelving. A mix of materials is used, including marsh oak wood, lacquer finishes, and aluminum. The 6-inch thick quartz countertop is suspended above four glass pull-out trays. Siemens' futuristic appliances include a ventilation hood with an integrated flat-screen TV and DVD/CD player. A “lift” oven descends at the press of a button, making it easy to place and remove dishes.
