While it is not wise to impose a career decision on your children, it is extremely important to be their primary counselors. 2. Keenly observe their unique talents and natural interests. Some children naturally enjoy singing and music. Others draw and create artistic works with ease. Some are extremely smart with numbers. Take time to observe your children's special interests and encourage them in that direction. Buy toys that relate to their area of interest. It could be a flute, a harmonica or a pastel box.
