You want that kind of problem! You want so many people to order, you have to stretch to meet demand. This kind of response comes from television. Radio and magazines do not create this level of response. You want to be seen in magazines and radio also but the big cash comes from television. How can you make all this happen?

It’s no accident. The shows have to see your product. Sending product samples unsolicited is usually prohibited. Oprah and the Today show will not open a package they are not expecting. Thanks to all those people sending anthrax in the mail, most large corporations have policies against that. But somehow you have got to get them to look at your product and test it out.

Your product needs to be the entire thing. Not a test model that is missing a piece that is needed to make it work at its best. They need to see the entire thing, even the packaging you use. They need to be able to use it. A special item that is used in the snow, for a southern California or Hawaii show would be hard to test. They would have to go a long way to test it. And because producers are very busy, they will take off half a day just to go try out your item. If you send a book, make sure it is a copy with no typos. The cover needs to be on the book.

Holidays are great tie ins for your business. If you run specials and have special holiday items, these are the things TV wants to talk about. Imagaine millions of people who want to buy your product on the same day? What would that do for your bottom line? Work on this during the summer to be ready for fall holidays.
