Home Slicker is a moisture-draining rainscreen designed to tackle the moisture problem that can exist between the building paper and the exterior cladding.

Home Slicker rainscreen comes in 46 1/2-foot rolls that weigh about 7 pounds.

Similar to the company's Cedar Breather wood roofing underlayment, the ventilating and self-draining rainscreen is a 3-D nylon matrix that installs over housewrap and under cladding, providing a continuous space for drying, channels for drainage, a thermal break, and pressure equalization. The product is designed to allow moisture from wind-driven rain, interior moisture vapor, and corrosive surfacants to drain, rather than remain trapped between the siding and the housewrap.

The system can be used with a range of cladding materials, including wood, fiber cement, brick, vinyl, and EIFS. The material is rolled over the wall surface like a housewrap and installs with staples. According to the firm, the material will not affect the installation or performance of the cladding.
