The product is designed to allow moisture from wind-driven rain, interior moisture vapor, and corrosive surfacants to drain, rather than remain trapped between the siding and the housewrap.

The system can be used with a range of cladding materials, including wood, fiber cement, brick, vinyl, and EIFS.
