Steps

  1. Remember that posture makes a difference. It gives appearance of confidence and when you're confident, you look like you can talk well.
  2. Talk at the perfect speed and volume. Don't talk to fast unless you are intentionally doing so. Don't talk slow either, you will bore people. Don't talk too loud, people hate that. Don't talk too quiet, you will hear a lot of repeat requests.
  3. Keep eye contact. Looking off to the side can ruin everything.
  4. Make impressions from popular movies. Make sure you plan them in front of the mirror first so you know it looks good.
  5. Think before you say, so you don't pull the whole "um" thing or stutter.
  6. Make body movements! Jazz hands, thumbs up, a dramatic lean on your hip, roll your eyes, stick your tongue out, shuffle your feet, flip your hair, anything works!
7. Don't show nervous behavior like most guys will keep moving their feet and it makes them look like they have to go to the bathroom. And as for girls they usually hide their hands in their pockets or sleeves.

Tips

  • Be friendly. It's as simple as that.
  • Watch a lot of plays and movies. You can get impressions from there.
  • Be assertive!
  • Don't be afraid to show emotion.
