Fill the jar with warm water and dish detergent and run it on high for 15 seconds. Rinse it well and dry it. Don't wash the blades in the dishwasher or they won't stay as sharp as they should. You can clean the plastic bases with a mixture of baking soda and water or an all-purpose cleaner.

To clean your microwave, use a mild dishwashing detergent, baking soda, or a glass cleaner. You can wash the glass tray in the dishwasher or the sink. If you have some old sauces splattered in your microwave, you can place a glass measuring cup inside with some water and vinegar in it. Boil it for a few minutes and the splatters should wipe off easily.
