Trinity Lutheran Church of Greencastle, 1186 Jason Drive, is joining forces with Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County in sponsoring a used book sale on the following days: 11/5, from 10 AM - 7 PM; 11/6, from 10 AM - 6 PM; and 11/7, from 8:30 AM - 12 PM. Habitat for Humanity, 23 North Third Street, Chambersburg, will accept good used books from 9/14 – 10/29, Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 12 PM in a variety of categories except textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, and encyclopedias. 11/7 been designated “bag day” when the purchase of three bags gets you an additional free bag of books. Proceeds of the book sale will be shared with Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County to assist in the construction of quality, affordable housing for low-income partner families.
