This is a craps-shoot as you do not know if they do good work. There are some tips that you can follow in order to find the right tint shop that will do a good job on your vehicle.

∗ Do a little research. You can ask friends and family if they have had tinting done and if they are happy with the results. ∗ How long have they been in business and do they have more than one location? Tint shops that are good will be successful by offering good service at fair prices. You should choose a tint shop that has been in business for at least 5 years in the same location. This can show that the business is one that is stable and they are more likely to be there if something goes wrong with the tint job years down the road. You can look to see if they have other shops or are a branch as this can ensure that it is a successful business.

∗ What films do they use and want warranty offer do they give? Good tint shops carry a complete line of window films, with different colors and tints, from various manufacturers. Watch out for tint shops that only have a couple types of film and are aggressive when trying to get you to buy them. They may have received a discount on film and are not thinking of your needs or wants. The warranty generally has to do with the type of film you choose. It can be a good option to buy film that comes with a lifetime warranty on both parts and labor. Many types of films will not guarantee color and fading, therefore it is a good option that you also choose one that does.

 
IMPORTANT: For the warranty to be valid you must get only legal window tinting on your vehicle. Having illegal tinting will make the warranty void. Be sure you get a card for the manufacturer's warranty with the date the tinting was put on, the type of film on each window, and the total cost.
