Steps

1. Open Skype on your computer by clicking on the blue Skype icon.
2. Or if Skype is opened but not logged in, you will find a little grey sphere in your taskbar.
3. Enter your Skype name and your password, then click Sign In.
4. Then click on Search For Skype Users.
5. Then you can enter each of the fields according to what type of person you are looking for.
6. If you have entered the fields that you want (not all of them are required) click on Find.
7. Select the person that you want to invite on Skype.
8. View their profile by clicking on the little blue I on the right side of the Skype window.
9. Then click on Add Skype Contact.
10. Enter a message to introduce yourself and click OK.
11. Close the Search For Skype Users box.
12. There you are, you have made a new friend, all you have to do now is hope they get and accept your invite!

Tips

• If you don't have Skype, you can download it from the Skype website at www.skype.com
• Keep the invitation short and friendly.
• If it does not work, the person either did not accept your invite, or did not get it. To try again, right click on the contact and click Request Contact Details.

• You never know who that person might be, so be aware who you invite!
