- See that your right to say "no" is okay. Especially if you are not ready or it feels uncomfortable/unsafe. You have a right to change your mind at anytime.
- Seek out relationships with people who understand your needs/rights to be happy and not scared/guilty/ashamed.
- Understand that it is your right to have your own feelings. You have a right to be angry at somebody you love.
- Follow your own value system-it is your human right. You have the right to be respected and be allowed to make mistakes. You have the right not to be perfect.
- Protect yourself from people who humiliate, hurt or insult you. It is your human right to do so.
- Allow yourself to trust others who earn it.
- Respect your right to have privacy. Insist other people follow your rules. You have a right to protect your own body and take care of yourself. You have a right to defend yourself.
- Believe with all your heart that you have the right to choose who to love.

- If a person does something that is unforgivable. It is your right to not trust them again.
- You have the right to new experiences as long as you or no one else gets hurt.
