Every guest that attends your wedding should go home with a little "thank you" gift from you and your spouse. There are many different possibilities for wedding favors, ranging in price from a few pennies to several dollars each. You can save yourself some money by making your wedding favors yourself. All you need is a little time and these suggestions in order to make wedding favors that all of your guests will appreciate.

STEP 2:

Make napkin holders. Another option for wedding favors is to make napkin holders for each guest. These are great because you can actually use them for your table place settings and then instruct each guest to take one home. Simple wind up some grapevines into a circle and then tie each one off with a ribbon containing the bride and groom's name. Glue on some decorative flowers or glitter, and then place them out for each guest.

STEP 3:

Give out bubbles. If you want a fun wedding favor, make personalized wedding bubble bottles for your guests. Purchase small bottles of bubbles (preferably label-free). Then print off a waterproof label for each bottle that states the bride and groom's names as well as the wedding date. Attach a ribbon around the top of the bottle, and then set the favors out for your guests to use after the ceremony and during the reception.

STEP 4:

Make a personalized CD. If you and your partner are into music, your guests might like a CD containing all of your favorite hits. You only need to purchase enough blank CDs so that each couple will get one. Then compile your favorite songs (preferably ones that really symbolize your relationship with your partner). Burn as many copies as you need, and set them out at your reception.

STEP 5:

Make something sweet. If you like the idea of an edible wedding favor, why not whip up something easy in your own kitchen? You could make chocolates using wedding chocolate moulds and then place a few into small mesh bags. Or you could prepare a small cupcake for each guest. If you put it in a nice box and tie it with a bow, your wedding guests will never stop to think how much money you saved on such tasty and beautiful wedding favors.
