Description:
Blind Pig Records recording artist and Massachusetts native Albert Cummings plays blues-rock. In 1998 he walked into an open blues jam one Sunday night and announced that he was going to play some souped up blues. That jam led to Cummings' winning the Blues Society's Colossal Contenders contest, and he journeyed to Beale Street to compete in the Blues Foundation's 1999 International Blues Challenge. That relationship also opened up an opportunity for him to work with Tommy Shannon, Reese Winans and Chris Layton of Double Trouble (Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton are also known as Stevie Ray Vaughan's backing team.) Blues giant B.B. King, dubbed Cummings 'a great guitarist.' Tours and shows with blues legends B.B. King, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy and others brought his music to a new audience. This is your chance to see Albert live in Cleveland!
