The Kay Jeweler’s Mounting Guarantee allows customers to have their diamond, emerald, ruby or sapphire mounted against all defects in material or workmanship for twelve months from the date of purchase. Also, Kay’s will repair or replace the mounting without charge if any defects are found during that period.

A Lifetime Diamond Trade-In Policy is provided by Kay Jewelers which allows purchasing customers to trade in their diamond for another diamond at least double the trade-in value. The trade-in value is the original purchase price, excluding charges such as tax and shipping. Color gemstone jewelry is not eligible for trade-in. Furthermore, trade-ins of in-store and online purchases are accepted at any Kay Jewelers location but not accepted at their website, www.kay.com.

As another way to keep Kay customers happy and satisfied, the company offers Free Lifetime Cleaning and Inspections. This lets customers bring their diamonds or color gemstones jewelry into any Kay location as often as they wish for free professional cleaning and inspection.

Kay Jewelers was looking for a way to give back to the communities in which they served and donating yearly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was their way of saying “Thank You”. The donation of that $2.4 million will go towards Kay Jewelers’ commitment of the renovation of the hospital cafeteria, which will cost an estimated $15 million. This is Kay’s largest commitment to date.
