Your employees need to know what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and how you expect it to be done. So make sure you a clear with them. You must also communicate with any vendors that may be in your franchise. Your management team should assist here as well. The vendors must know what you expect from them and any marketing plans you may need their help in.

This way everyone hears the same message and goals and expectations are restated to help ensure they are still a priority. You may also have one on one meeting with individuals who do not quite understand what you expect. It is important that you communicate in a language that is understandable to the employees, be sure to word things simply and precise. Let's not forget about your customers, you need to be able to communicate with them as well. You will want to be able to let them know of any specials you have, but more importantly you will need to know how to communicate with them if a problem arises. Also simply talking with your customers can build rapport and gain customer loyalty!

Communication is vital to running your franchise business. If you do not communicate what you expect, those things will not get done and you may lose business and profits due to it. You may have great guidelines and expectations for your employees but if you cannot communicate them clearly it will not appear that way.
