House filled with kids for Thanksgiving? Get all that excess energy out at Mystic Seaport's annual Field Days! Participate in 19th-century games on the Village Green, make your own puppet in our creative puppet-making workshop and explore the autumn sky under the Planetarium dome. Children will enjoy singing along to rollicking songs of the sea in our "Tales and Tunes" program, climbing aboard the Museum's fleet of playscape boats and discovering the world's last wooden whaleship, the Charles W. Morgan, as she rests ashore in the Museum's shipyard undergoing a three-year restoration. And while you're here, don't forget to check out our regular schedule of activities including demonstrations aboard tall ships, daily music programs, horse and carriage rides through our 19th-century village and interactive exhibits. When it's time to eat, the Galley Restaurant has a menu full of kid's favorites (plus lots of choices for Mom and Dad, too). Spend quality time with your family this Thanksgiving Day weekend at Mystic Seaport.
