Plan a day with your girlfriend brigade! Mark your calendars for The Head to Toe Women's Expo returning to the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center, October 10, 11 and 12, 2008. More than 10,000 women are expected to attend the three-day extravaganza created by women for women. With an emphasis on health, happiness, style and a balanced life, the Head to Toe Women's Expo offers something for every woman. Attendees can visit over 2o0 exhibits and enjoy two stages, showing off the latest trends in hair and fashion, cooking demonstrations and a host of speakers from television to authors. Presented by Ralphs, the Head to Toe Women's Expo has assembled esteemed professionals from a wealth of industries that cater to women to create three magical days of rejuvenation, education and entertainment. The show returns to Orange County for its second gathering. The show originates in San Diego, where it was hatched five years ago by Debbie Adelman and Rosemarie Gibson of Wiz Marketing. Many Orange County residents have been coming to the San Diego Head to Toe Women's Expo since its inception; due to the demand, they decided to give Orange County their own Head to Toe Women's Expo. Armed with advertising and marketing expertise gained from their years as advertising sales executives at The San Diego Union-Tribune, Gibson and Adelman knew that women were the most influential consumers in the marketplace. They spend 81 percent of their money on retail purchases and sign 80 percent of all checks. Yet women were surprisingly under-served when it came to local events and resources. As such, Gibson and Adelman created the kind of event that they would want to attend - one that makes the most of every moment for busy career women - essentially, the ultimate day out for women.
