121 Acoma Street
Denver, CO 80223 – This home is the original location for the program when it was founded in 1967. It is one of the residences for Phase I and Phase II. This home also holds the dining room, large meeting room and the house manager’s office.


The Back House
This house is also used for residential clients. Often referred to as the Back House, because it sits on the back part of the property. This was once the carriage house for 107 Acoma.


Stepping Stone
Stepping Stone was acquired by Sobriety House in 1978. Sixteen women live here during Phase I and Phase II.


The Gaylord
Gaylord Apartments are where graduates of Sobriety House may live in one-bedroom, furnished apartments for up to nine months while further stabilizing their lives.

History
IDEA began in Denver in December of 1995 and expanded to Aurora in 2000, Brighton in 2003 and Thornton in 2007. For over fifteen years IDEA has provided linguistically and culturally appropriate counseling, education, and referral services to the communities we serve. IDEA advocates and provides activities, services, and Evidence Based Practices to prevent and eliminate all forms of abuse. IDEA specializes in populations that are disproportionally represented in the judicial system by offering services anchored in culturally appropriate content.
