There is often a requirement for internship in pharmacies before the students graduate as pharmacists. Upon graduation they are licensed to hold pharmacists’ jobs in which they will dispense various types of medication.

While pharmacists have been a vital part of communities for many years, the locations in which they work has changed and expanded. A qualified pharmacist who is interested in passing on knowledge and would like to follow an academic career can also investigate teaching jobs at universities as well as research work in such establishments.
