Arriving, departing, and moving through the airport have been made as easy as possible, thanks to the facilities and services available. Wheelchairs are provided upon request and electric cart services are also available. Philadelphia International Airport is situated at 8000 Essington Avenue, about seven miles from Central Philadelphia. If you plan on driving to the airport, remember that you need to arrive at least one hour before a domestic flight departure and two hours before an international flight departure. There are a number of routes you can take to the airport depending on the direction from which you are traveling.
From Philadelphia City Center, take the I-95 South to the airport exit or the I-76 East, and follow the airport signs. From the PA Turnpike, take the Mid-County Exit (Route 476), follow 476 South (Chester) to I-95, and then take I-95 North to the airport exit. From the NJ Turnpike, take Exit 3 to the Walt Whitman Bridge. After the toll plaza, keep in the far right lane, take I-95 South, and continue to the Philadelphia International Airport exit. If you are traveling from Delaware, take the I-95 North to the airport exit.
If you are driving to Philadelphia International Airport just to drop someone off or pick up a passenger, you can pull up curbside at a terminal for active loading or unloading. Vehicles should not be left unattended at the curb. If you do leave your vehicle, it is likely to be towed away. Both short and long term parking is available for vehicles at Philadelphia International Airport. The A-East, A-West, B, C, D, E, and F terminal garages offer hourly and long term parking facilities, while daily and long-term parking is available in the Economy Parking Lot at the airport's east end. You can access all the garages and the Economy Parking Lot by taking the Arriving Flights Roadway at the airport.
Also available at Philadelphia International Airport is the Park & Ride or Cell Phone Parking Lot. This is an area of about 60 parking spaces on Bartram Avenue next to the Southbound I-95 Cargo City exit ramp. If you are collecting someone, you can wait in your car in this area until the person contacts you by phone to let you know he or she is ready to be picked up. To reach Philadelphia International Airport, turn right onto Bartram Avenue after leaving the Park & Ride area, turn right at Island Avenue, follow the signs for I-95 South and take Exit 12A to the airport, then follow the Arriving Flight signs.
Drivers dropping off passengers with disabilities may use designated temporary spaces in front of each terminal on the Departures Roadway at Philadelphia International Airport. Only dropping off and picking up are allowed in these areas, and vehicles should not be left unattended. If you are meeting a passenger with a disability, there are designated spaces on the Arrivals Roadway. You may, however, find it more convenient to park in one of the garages and meet the passenger just before the security checkpoints or in the baggage claim area.

There's no need to worry about losing touch with business matters when you are waiting for a flight at Philadelphia International Airport. The airport offers you a home office away from home, with more than 100 semi-private work areas throughout each of its seven terminals. Located in the boarding gate areas of the terminals, these
work stations provide you with a work table and bench, a pay telephone, and outlets where you can work in comfort until it is time to get ready for boarding your flight.
In Terminal A/B Connector's UPS Store, you can use facilities for photocopying, sending faxes, and other services. Computers with Internet access are also available in the area known as Laptop Lane. Every terminal at Philadelphia International Airport has data ports, and wireless Internet access is available throughout the airport. For passengers who want to take care of mail, there are self-service postal areas on both the A-B walkway and the C-D walkways. There are also FedEx drop boxes at these centers and in Terminal E.
