Through the ages, men have used their wallets to carry almost the same amount of stuff that could fit into a purse. Every business card, phone number, or receipt they have received can be found, archived away between the old leather folds which are usually falling apart. Add in some paper money, credit cards, or anything else a guy might need to have with him with the end result being a over sized wallet. Way too many guys have the faded square in the back pocket of their jeans to ignore this fashion epidemic, and there are some sure fire tips here which will not only slim the pocket line, but will get a guy organized as well.
First things first, painful as it may be, take everything out of the wallet. Every bit, as the wallet has to go. Once everything is laid out, pick through and gather the important stuff into some piles. Business contacts and important numbers should be entered into the cell phone, or whatever directory is used. Get the info off of the cards, then throw them away. After looking through the stack of business cards there, a guy usually finds that half of them he has never used, nor would he of. Oh yeah, and please remove all useless receipts that were once in your wallet. What are you doing, collecting rubbage? Get rid of them or simply make a fire, I m sure you get the point.
Next, make a stack of bank and credit cards. Are they still current? Check the expiration dates. Finding out about a credit card expiring after dinner would not be the quickest way to get another date. Another tip is to evaluate what really needs to be carried. The rest can stay at home. This can be a life saver if for some reason your card gets stolen or lost, at least you would have back up at home. Evaluation of the credit or bank card can also help to stop unneeded spending as well.
Once all of the unnecessary filler which was bulking up the wallet is gone, all that should be left is an identification card, one bank and/or credit card, and of course, the money. This is when it is time to get the money clip. Keeping the cash in your pocket straight and counted is the best way to keep dollars from slipping away. Getting a simple leather slip for the identification and bank card along with using a money clip is the best way to keep your pockets lean, trim, and in good shape.
So what do you say? Want to get rid of that wallet? You should, just for the sake of your pockets. Give yourself some freedom, pocket freedom and never have to endure annoying bulky pockets ever again. You ll be really glad you finally took the plunge to get a simple money clip. You ll actually probably want to tell all your friends about the new feeling of freedom you now have.
