Immerse yourself in an all-new tale of the magic, merriment and mystery of Christmas Eve, 1876.Stroll through a festival holiday village, kick up your heels in a tavern dance and visit with sailors in port for the holiday. You may even spy a jolly old silver-haired fellow... could that be ol' St. Nick? Lantern Light Tours are scheduled primarily Thursday through Sunday evenings. Each tour is an hour long moving performance and is not recommended for children under four. Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly for Friday and Saturday performances. Tours begin at 5 p.m. and leave every 15 minutes. Handicapped accessible tours are available each evening. Note: If you have difficulty walking or require the use of a wheelchair, please notify the ticketing agent when making your reservation so that proper accommodations may be made for you. Help us help our Community! In keeping with the holiday spirit, Mystic Seaport kindly requests that each person attending Lantern Light Tours brings a donation of a non-perishable food item. All donations will go to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, helping those who need the most support in our community. Please contribute what you can to make the holidays brighter for someone else.

Mark your calendars! Kitchen + Bath | Design + Construction, (formerly Kitchen & Bath Design Consultants), is excited to announce the seventh annual "Friends Helping Friends" Kitchen Tour. This self-guided tour will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24th, 2009. Ticket holders may visit several of our favorite kitchen renovation projects in West Hartford. Along with touring these beautiful kitchens, a variety of activities are being planned to take place at the various homes featured. This special event showcases some of our finest work, while allowing us to be able to give back to our community. All ticket sale proceeds will benefit Neonatal Care at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Certified as a Level III NICU, the Saint Francis facility is capable of treating the most seriously ill newborns. A full complement of board certified physicians, experienced neonatal nurses and other healthcare professionals staff the 28-bassinet unit. Ticke ts are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the tour.
