The G37 Coupe is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor, with emotional surface development, sweeping character lines and tight panel gaps. Infiniti QX56 Preview - 2007 Detroit Auto Show: Infiniti's giant QX56 is a seven-passenger luxury SUV based on the Nissan Armada, which itself is based on the Nissan Titan full-size pickup truck.
What's New - Infiniti redesigns the FX, its rear- or all-wheel drive crossover based on the same platform as the G sedan.
Infiniti offers an extensive set of airbags, along with stability and traction control and anti-lock brakes. The 2009 EX35 also has a host of safety-related options that may warrant more of your attention: Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, and Around View Monitoring.
The 2009 G37 Coupe is as well-equipped as luxury coupes typically come, and the standard feature list includes automatic climate control, an intelligent key, and leather upholstery. 2009 models also feature a redesigned dial-type seat heater switch and automatic speed-sensing power door locks. If you are interested in finding a 2009 Infiniti G37, read on to learn more information.
The autobox has a sport mode, downshift rev matching, and you can click through the cogs via steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. However, if those manumatic modes aren't enough to satisfy you, Infiniti also offers the purists a six-speed manual gearbox, in the G37S Sport 6MT model.
Infiniti's M sedans are big, spacious vehicles, with more of a focus on technology and sporty driving response than on outright comfort. The M's exterior design doesn't especially stand out, although there's no denying that it's a longer (yet less aggressively styled) sibling of the G37 sport sedan.
Built off the same underpinnings that hold up the Infiniti G37 coupe, the EX Concept should provide a sporty driving experience, loads of safety and a nice modern style, inside and out. If you are interested in more information about the Infiniti EX Concept, read the following.
More than just about any other crossover, the 2008 Infiniti EX35 drives like a car. In fact, the EX drives like a sports sedan, and a pretty good one at that. That's not surprising because the EX traces its roots to the G35 sedan's architecture.
The Infiniti FX delivers a stylish crossover sport-utility with a healthy dose of amenities and solid performance at a decent price, and a palette of options to please almost anyone. If you prefer looking good and speed to practicality, comfort and fuel economy it's worth putting on your list.
G.R. Whale filed this report to NewCarTestDrive.com after his test drive of the FX models in Southern California.
You may not recognise the badge, but Nissan's new luxury brand is serious about beating BMW and Mercedes.
The Infiniti G35 is a true sports machine. Like all of the world's greatest sports sedans, the G35 uses rear-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive generally delivers sportier handling than front-wheel drive.
The Infiniti G35 is a true sports sedan. It features a powerful V6 engine, a sports suspension, and rear-wheel drive, all marks of sporting sedans. Rear-wheel drive offers handling response that front-wheel drive can't usually match.
The G35 gets revised styling for 2006, but the changes are subtle. You'd almost have to park an '06 next to an '05 to see that the tail lights are different, with the white reverse lenses more subtly integrated. And projector-beam headlights are now standard up front.
The Infiniti G37 Convertible is built on a stretched Nissan 350Z platform, but its character is very different to the sports car’s. Read on this article to find more details of it.
Unlike the G35, the new Infiniti G37's lines are more contemporary than classic. Everything flows from the front fenders, rounded so much they stand out.
Bringing a pre-production car to a dealership is fun, and the staff immediately quizzes me. Yes, this is the new G37; yes, the S signifies the sport model. No, the massive 14-in. front rotors aren't Brembo anymore.
The Infiniti M follows through with a distinct Infiniti identity heralded by the introduction of the stylish G35. The M looks like a bigger brother to the G35 sedan. It has the distinct Infiniti badge located in the center of its grille, with familiar horizontal bars and a chrome lip at the top.
We found the new Infiniti M fun to drive and it did not feel like a big car at all. Part of the reason why the car doesn't feel too big is because aluminum body panels have been used for the hood, trunk and doors making the body weigh less while also lowering the center of gravity.
The all-new 2006 Infiniti M models offer plenty of luxury touches to appeal to luxury buyers. They also offer enough performance to appeal to buyers of sports sedans. Additionally there are plenty of user-friendly hi-tech touches to appeal to techie buyers. We like the value offered by the Infiniti M35 with the Journey Package and navigation system.
The Infiniti M35 and the more powerful M45 challenge the luxury cars from Europe. The Infiniti M models successfully blend aggression and sophistication for stylish visual flair. Their rosewood-trimmed interiors are luxurious, with comfortable seats and a full array of standard safety equipment.
The all-new M45 is the latest model to receive the FM treatment and it's easily the most evolved application to date. Forget what you know about the current M45 because its replacement is a completely different (and much more satisfying) luxury sports sedan.
There's a chance the Infiniti QX56 will not go down in history as the best-looking vehicle from the big sport utility era. Even with its 2008 revisions, it looks almost as awkward as its name sounds, but it does all the things a large SUV should.
From the driver's seat, the Infiniti QX56 doesn't feel as large as it is. Without checking the rearview mirror, it's easy to forget just how much mass is back there. That's not to say it drives like a car, but nor does it drive like the full-size body-on-frame truck that it is.
The Infiniti QX56 offers exceptionally good off-road capability and a strong towing capacity. Driven on freeways and backroads where a vehicle this size is most likely to be driven, it's surprisingly and refreshingly responsive and surefooted.
Proof that not all great sport sedans wear BMW badges
