The Sioux Falls Regional Airport is relatively easy to find, as it is located just off Interstates 90 and 29 and South Dakota Highway 38. When driving from either the north or the south, take Interstate 29 to Exit 81 at Russell Street. From here, you can easily follow the signs to the airport. When driving from the West, take Interstate 29 south to Exit 81 and follow the posted signs. From the East, take Interstate 90 to Exit 399, which is also well signed out so that you can find the airport without difficulty. This exit leads to the South Dakota Highway 38A and Benson Road, Either of these will take you directly to the airport. Since the airport is quite close to the business district, you should make sure you give yourself enough time to reach the airport, especially for international travel, which requires that you be at the airport earlier than for domestic flights. Several car rental agencies have kiosks located in the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. These include Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, National and Rapp Chevrolet. The parking areas of Sioux Falls Regional Airport are located directly across from the terminal. There are two entrances to each of the parking area depending on your need for short or long-term parking. The parking lots are lighted and are staffed 24 hours a day, so no matter what time you arrive or depart, you will have access to your vehicle. The cost of parking at this airport is quite reasonable. While stays of less than thirty minutes do not apply to the long-term area, it only costs $0.75 for stays of thirty minutes or less in the short-term area. Hour long stays cost $1.50 in the short-term parking lot with each additional hour costing $1.50. If you need to spend a day at the airport, it will cost you $8.50 for the day in the short term parking area. At the long-term parking lot it costs $1.00 per hour. The parking fees for a day are only $4.50 and parking your vehicle here for a week costs $24.00. There is no need to wait for a shuttle to take you from the parking lot to the airport, as the lot is only a short walk from the terminal.
