What would happen if your employees wanted to bring Skype to the office? First, they'd have to use either a Skype client with headset or bring in a Skype phone and find an empty Ethernet port to plug it into. They'd have to constantly choose between making conventional and Skype calls. There would be questions about security and opening and closing firewall ports. You would have to bill the appropriate departments for SkypeIn and SkypeOut charges, rather than leaving it to the billing software. All in all, it could bring so much aggravation you might be tempted to ban it altogether.
