Getting body art is something that more and more people do not seem to be taking as seriously as previous generations. What makes this removal method somewhat controversial is the fact that is it is done at home by the person who wants to get rid of their tattoo. Needless to say, if directions are not completed followed, scarring might occur.

The second, more commonly done method of tatoo removal involves lasers. This procedure is done by a dermatologist in an outpatient setting. First, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the tattooed area. A handheld laser device is used to target the skin molecules that have bonded to the tattoo ink. This will need to be done over several sessions.
