Tattoo Removal Lafayette LA

Getting body art is something that more and more people do not seem to be taking as seriously as previous generations. Part of this has to do with the sudden influx of television shows that center around the various body art shops. Just watching these kinds of shows alone could inspire a person to get body art as a means of self expression.

However, tattoos are being applied more skillfully than ever these days, so if a person becomes tired of their tattoo, they had better select the right kind of tatoo removal. Sometimes, a person does not become tired so much as plain hateful towards their tattoo, especially if it contains the name of an ex lover!

There are two main kinds of tatoo removal. The first kind is known as TCA tatoo removal. This method involves a clear chemical being applied to the tattooed area once every couple of weeks. What makes this removal method somewhat controversial is the fact that is it is done at home by the person who wants to get rid of their tattoo. Needless to say, if directions are not completed followed, scarring might occur.

The second, more commonly done method of tatoo removal involves lasers. This procedure is done by a dermatologist in an outpatient setting. First, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the tattooed area. A handheld laser device is used to target the skin molecules that have bonded to the tattoo ink. This will need to be done over several sessions.
