Usually, the topic matter is some type of new technology with which your students are not familiar. Technology teachers in elementary or high schools are usually responsible for maintaining the school’s computer network. There are several technology teaching jobs where the subject matter is more artistic than technology oriented. These teaching jobs require a lot of industry experience compared to being an elementary or high school teacher.
