Bring your family to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Thanksgiving Day and enjoy free admission to the Zoo and The RainForest from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. As an added holiday treat, visitors can see special animal enrichment demonstrations throughout the day.

Some Like it Hot, Some Like it Cold
Whether you prefer the warmth of the tropics or an invigorating chill, you're sure to enjoy December Days at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. December Days offers seasonal activities for the whole family to enjoy including animal programs, seasonal music, eco-friendly crafts, holiday cookie decorating and more. And, Santa Claus will greet visitors daily through December 24. Stroll Zoo grounds on foot or ride aboard a complimentary heated shuttle. Take an invigorating walk through Northern Trek to see many of the Zoo's winter-loving animals including reindeer, bears, tigers and wolves.
Even on the coldest of December Days, the Zoo offers many warm indoor exhibits. Explore the warmth and beauty of The RainForest, home to 600 animals and 6,000 plants. Discover one of the largest collections of primate species in North America and some really cool cats inside the Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building. Enjoy an encounter with koalas inside GumLeaf Hideout, or visit elephants, tortoises and a hippo in the Pachyderm Building. Experience the seasonal splendor of the Zoo's Public Greenhouse, and warm up with the wolves inside the comfort of Wolf Lodge. See for yourself Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's commitment to the best in animal care in the Reinberger Learning Lab located inside the Center for Zoological Medicine. The displays feature hands-on interactive exhibits, tools-of-the-trade, and views of surgical suites where visitors might sneak a peak at an animal health check in progress.
