Cisco Systems

Product: Cisco TelePresence

Why it’ll win you over: With Cisco TelePresence, you can create virtual meeting places for one-on-one discussions, virtual tables for group meetings with up to 12 participants and virtual agents with fully integrated contact center application capabilities. You can also conduct multi-point meetings that include three or more locations, up to 36 in a single meeting. What’s more, the solution is integrated with your enterprise groupware and unified communications, so you can schedule TelePresence meetings with the tools you use every day, such as Microsoft Outlook.

Hewlett-Packard

Product: HP Halo Collaboration Studio

Why it’ll win you over: No need to worry about network headaches. The HP-created Halo Video Exchange Network (HVEN) provides a high bandwidth, full-duplex, no-perceived-delay connection experience between HP Halo studios. The HVEN Operations enable remote diagnostics and calibration, ongoing service and repair and a 24x7 concierge service. HP Halo is a turnkey, managed service that streamlines the ease of connecting business executives around the world.

Teliris

Product: Teliris VirtuaLive HD

Why it’ll win you over: Teliris’ telepresence solution is bolstered by VirtualVectoring, a unique concept pioneered by Teliris that enhances the overall meeting environment by creating a more realistic orientation and interface among users of the solution. These standards include constantly  maintaining eye contact and sight lines among participants, as well as never sending the same image to more than one site so that each location sees images in the way they would see them if they were physically in the room.

Polycom

Product: RealPresence Experience High Definition (RPX HD)

Why it’ll win you over: The Polycom RPX HD Suites are completely interoperable

with all standards based video conferencing products meaning that the end user can maximize their capital investment and continue to use legacy video solutions. The solution’s room-within-a-room design is constructed such that the suite can easily be disassembled and moved to a new location, leaving the original room intact.

TANDBERG

Product: TANDBERG Telepresence Solution

Why it’ll win you over: For an immersive telepresence environment, TANDBERG has partnered with HP to market the HP Collaboration Studio. HP Halo interoperability with TANDBERG systems provides an end-to-end managed solution which enables secure, natural and consistent collaboration. And for a more adaptive solution, TANDBERG offers Experia, a standards-based, across-the-table telepresence experience, which is both easy to install and portable.
