The Festival of "Fostering" Trees is looking for support from the entire community in the form of donated decorated artificial Christmas Trees that will be raffled off at the end of the festival and All of the proceeds raised will go to assilsting youth who are transitioning out of the York County Foster Care System. Any business, school group, club, minicipality, committee, organization, family or individual may participate in this festival. Donate a decorated artificial Christmas tree, any style or fashion, traditional or non-traditional, using any type of materials (be creative) and the tree will be raffled off at the end of the festival. All trees willl need to be set-up and decorated by the participants. Please provide a box with your tree’s "name" for the winner to use to transport the tree home. Any business, group or individual who would like to participate in the festival but is not interested in donating a tree may choose to make a monetary donation that wuld go directly to the collected proceeds. Donations in the fomr of gift certificates, specific items and/or products will be used as an additional raffle or we’ll decorate a tree with the donated items.
