Three Way Phone Calls

Three way calling is a great way for three people to talk when they're apart. Nearly all phones are capable of making three way calls. Want to connect to two of your friends at the same time, but don't know how? Read on and you will get the answers.

Steps

  1. Call your friend.
  2. Tell them that you will connect your other friend.
  3. Press talk to put your first friend on hold.
  4. Dial your second friend's number.
  5. Press talk again.
  6. Wait for them to answer.
  7. When they have answered, press talk again to bring the first friend back on the line.
  8. You made a three way call!
Option 2
  1. You can press the button that says 'flash' on the phone.
  2. Then dial the number.
  3. Press flash again.
Option 3
  1. While on the phone dial a number and press call/talk.
  2. When the dialed number answers press the options button.
  3. Select merge/join/combine calls or press call/talk again.

Tips

  • If your friend is talking to you and three way calls someone else, then you hang up, they can still talk.
  • On certain cell phones three way calling may be referred to as a "conference call".
  • Refer to your phone's owners manual for additional help.

Warnings

  • If you connect somebody and drop. You will end the conversation.
  • You can not connect twice! If you do so, the first person that you connected will be dropped.
  • Don't say things that you don't want one of the people to hear.
