Now that you’re ready to buy a home, here’s what you need to know about working with a REALTOR®:

Work exclusively with one REALTOR.®

Once you’ve found a REALTOR® you like who specializes in the area you’re interested in, commit to him or her. That mediocre bungalow your REALTOR® wants to show you may not be what you envisioned as your home, but if your REALTOR® wants to show it to you, give him/her the benefit of the doubt. Your REALTOR® may know something you don’t -- maybe with a minor renovation, it could turn into the home you always wanted.
