Ways To Start New Network Marketing Business

Getting your home based or network marketing business started correctly is critical. Network marketing is a business of duplication.

In my organization, we do not allow anyone to slip underneath the fence. We make sure to position people for success by helping them get started correctly.

Here are some things to do to get started:

1. Make sure you have a strong and clear why and be crystal clear about what you want to accomplish.

2. Make sure you have made a decision based on facts that you have verified. Do not chose a company or business based on hype and promises.

3. Put your goals in writing and in a place where you will see them every day. Get help with this if you need it.

4. Inform your spouse or significant other of your decision.

5. Make the decision and commitment to treat your business like a business.

6. Create a workspace in your home where you can work undistracted.

7. Do whatever it takes to build your belief in your company, the products, business model and your ability to achieve your goals.

8. Get fully trained in your company's policies, procedures and systems. Do not start prospecting and trying to tell other people about your business until you are fully trained. You do not have to know all of the nitty gritty details, but do need to know enough to start prospecting correctly.

9. Find mentors in your support line who will do enough presentations for you until you are ready to do them on your own.

10. Find and join an active accountability team in your company, who will help hold your accountable for your goals, activities and results. Find a team that will also support you and celebrate your successes.

11. Find a strategic business partner.. Look for ones that have the same objective. You can trade leads, share marketing info, sell package deals, etc.

12. Brand your name and business. You can easily do this by just writing articles and submitting them to e-zines or web sites for republishing. If you do not know how to or do not want to write your own articles,you can go to an article directory and find free articles for distribution.

13. Start a personal website. The type of website should tell your story. and why you have chosen your business. You'll draw traffic with a blog and articles

14. Remember to take a little time out of your day or week to brainstorm. New ideas are usually the difference between success and failure

15. Model other successful business or people. I'm not saying out right copy them, but practice some of the same habits that have made them succeed.

16. Take risks to improve your business. Sometimes businesses don't want to advertise unless it's free, sometimes you have to spend money to get results.

17. Ask people to review your web site. You can use the comments you get to improve your web site or you may turn the reviewer into a customer.

18. Out source part of your workload. You'll save on most employee costs. You could out source your secretarial work, accounting, marketing, etc.

19. Develop, build and maintain a contact list with at least 100 names.

20. Carry your contact list with you at all times. It is easy to do, you can keep a small pocket sized spiral notebook with you.

21. Learn and master at least three to five reaching out methods.

22. Learn how to network both offline and online.

23. Start building or expanding your warm market business network by participating in activities that will help you meet business minded people. this may include chambers of commerce, Toastmasters, Rotary, Kiwanis, business referral clubs, college alumni associations and volunteer organizations.

24. Start reading and observing forums, posts and profiles in online networking communities such as Direct Matches, Ryze, Fast Pitch, ecademy and Linked In.

25. Learn how to effectively set quality business appointments. Duplicate what other successful business builders do.

26. Get to know what experienced networkers are doing and saying by reading the forums such as mlmforums.com, one of the largest.

27. Add two new names to your contact list each day.

28. Find resources to continue building your skills and knowledge.

29. Study and practice the core critical business building activities on a regular basis.

30. Study and practice the core skills of listening, natural selling, contacting and inviting, presenting and follow up on a regular basis.
