White goods are large electrical home appliances (refrigerators or washing machines etc.) that are typically finished in white enamel.

Household appliances are essentially divided into the following types

Small electrical appliances, e.g.: microwave ovens, coffee- and tea-makers, kettles, toasters, hand mixers, deep fryers, electric knives, vacuum cleaners, hair-dryers, electric razors, irons etc.

Large electrical appliances, e.g.: dishwashers, cooking stoves, washing machines, refrigerators and freezers, clothes dryers

Air-conditioning appliances, e.g.: heaters, fans, humidifiers

White Goods are large electrical home appliances that are typically finished in white enamel. White goods make cooking, cleaning and other home tasks easier. Major appliances are divided in Brown and White goods.

White goods comprise major household electrical appliances including Refrigerator Stove, Vacuum Cleaners, Air Conditioner, Washing Machine, Dryer, Dishwashers, Stoves, and more. Microwaves are considered white goods but they contain complex electronic boards that white-good servicemen don’t want to repair because they are not trained to do so.

4 . Energy saving tips for white goods appliances

all your appliances clean and in good working order, so they will work more efficiently and effectively.

Fully loaded appliances are more efficient, but overloading can result in poor appliance performance.

Use the smallest appliance available for the task. For example, using a toaster oven or microwave to cook small amounts of food that you would ordinarily cook on a range uses less energy.

When replacing old white goods make sure you check the EU Energy Label as it will tell you how efficient the product is. Any appliance with an A rating or A++ will save you more money in the long term as well as helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
